A teacher of 26 years and a qualified SENDCO. I have always used a clear and simple approach, using high quality teaching resources that incorporate inclusivity into the planning. I use Rosenshine's principles of instruction and am mindful of cognitive load throughout the lesson. I prefer to model worked examples live but have create worked through examples so that both options are available. Examples are precise, unambiguous and designed for success.
