Problem chains are a great way to know if your students have fully understood the concept of what has been taught. During Grade 3 your students should have a good understanding of how follow on questions work. Problem chains are an excellent way to test their knowledge and comprehension. What are problem chains? Problem chains are where you have one fact and multiple questions stem from it. In this case they are math related. Each statement has 4 questions and each question is linked to the one previously.
