A bank of questions for Paper 1, Section C of the Love Through The Ages paper for the AQA A, A Level spec. I have taught the pre-1900 poetry collection and Tess of the d'Urbervilles, but these questions are applicable to any choice of text when compared with the anthology.

This is a scheme of work that culminates in students writing a persuasive leaflet for a theme park. This is aimed at very low ability Year 7 students and is designed to be interesting and simple to follow. I am however tweaking it slightly as I go and creating Power Points for each lesson, as this is the way that I like to work. A series of 4 lessons focusing on presentational devices. Students are encouraged to analyse images from adverts and newspapers whilst also considering the impact of the language used. I have merged bits and pieces together that I have found, whilst adding some of my own resources and ideas. This should prove useful for KS3 transition to GCSE or KS4 itself.
