Four tarsia activity puzzle documents included - I have produced two versions of each (both included in the zip file - total 8 documents). One version is ideal for trilogy, and another (named triple) ideal for biology as a single science. Both are aimed at higher tier candidates, you can adapted to suit foundation tier students if required. Covers the topics; cells, organisation, infection, bioenergetics. Each tarsia produces a different shape, there is one domino, one triangle, a rhombus and a standard parallelogram. The triple version includes the part of the topic for biology only and is slightly more difficult as there are questions around the edges/ or bigger version of the puzzle. My students have loved these activities, they are fun to work on in pairs, they guide the students to revise the particular key words etc that I know they will need to recall, and used together with my support mats (a large print out of my active revision card activities), the students can look up anything they are unsure of (they can quickly go over the content again). OR a useful marking free homework - at a glance check the student have correct shape, can be peer marked by posting up the solution on the board.
