I trained as a teacher of secondary Mathematics and evolved into a Computing teacher as well. I offer mainly Mathematics resources written for the current Australian Curriculum (NSW). Luckily Mathematics is recognisable all over the world, so I hope that teachers in different countries can use some of my work.

(Australian Curriculum) NSW MA4-19SP collects, represents and interprets single sets of data, using appropriate statistical displays

A worksheet with solutions for students to practise substituting an answer into an equation to check whether it is a solution or not. The worksheet could be used at the end of a lesson on solving equations or as a take home task for homework. (Australian Curriculum) NSW MA4-10NA uses algebraic techniques to solve simple linear and quadratic equations
Multiply and divide integers jigsaw

Multiply and divide integers jigsaw

An engaging task that can be used for individual students or working in pairs. This is a simple jigsaw with answer sheet. Can be used as a review at the end of a lesson on multiplying and dividing integers, or as a revision activity. An alternative task can be prepared by copying the answer sheet onto different coloured sheets of paper (enough for half your class) and laminating them. Cut out all the shapes from each sheet and place into small resealable plastic bags. You would then have a class activity for pairs of students that could be reused many times. (Australian Curriculum) NSW MA4-4NA compares, orders and calculates with integers, applying a range of strategies to aid computation

A double sided worksheet with answers. Students are helped to identify perpendicular lines and use this information to identify different triangles and quadrilaterals. They need to think deeply about certain properties. Students need to use a ruler and protractor or set square to construct perpendicular lines in given triangles and parallelograms. These perpendicular heights then need to be measured to the nearest mm. This worksheet is a preliminary to finding the area of a triangle or parallelogram. (Australian Curriculum) NSW MA4-13MG uses formulas to calculate the areas of quadrilaterals and circles, and converts between units of area

(Australian Curriculum) NSW MA3-8NA analyses and creates geometric and number patterns, constructs and completes number sentences, and locates points on the Cartesian plane

There is a literacy component in that the students need to be able to write these numbers as words before searching find-a-words. A construction task using the transformations of rotation and reflecting to complete a design. The student then needs to identify the number of identified shapes that they have constructed. The design can be coloured and used as a class display. (Australian Curriculum) NSW MA3-15MG manipulates, classifies and draws two-dimensional shapes, including equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles, and describes their properties.

The sheet starts with straight forward questions then turns things around and the student has to work backwards to get their answers. They need to cut out and find the axes of symmetry by creasing and finally glue each named quadrilateral into their book.
