I’ve uploaded my White Rose ‘Geometry - properties of shape’ Summer Block 5 planning. Including resources I’ve used from the White Rose (turned into an easily printable format and visual PPT to share). This is week 2 of 3.
This is my own personal planning which I’ll be using in my class in a couple of weeks. Hope you find it useful, it’s not made specifically for TES so there will most likely be some spelling errors etc

I’ve not made the summer warm up PPTs yet as I’ve planned far in advance. They’re not linked to the topic, just something additional I do at the beginning of each lesson. If you’ve been using them as well, I will reupload when they have been created - closer to when I actually teach this myself in class

Hi all,
I've uploaded my: Literacy + Numeracy planning, weekly timetables and also learning challenge planning (Science, history, geography, art, dt etc) medium term plans for Summer 1.
You'll also find 'overall coverage' which is how I divided up the new curriculum as a snap shot over all the half terms of the year and the running themes.
I've uploaded as is for you to tweak or use as you need to. Many many hours of work here so thought I'd share the love and save you some time.
I'm also uploading my planning for the other half terms as well, so if these were of use for you then check those out too.
Hi there,
I thought I'd share the love and give others a chance to benefit from the hours and hours worth of planning that goes into each weekly plan.
These are my own plans for the whole of the year. You will obviously need to tweak as some half terms are longer/shorter, or INSET days may vary. I've also included all my weekly timetables with a weekly overview on it + homework for the year!
Hope it helps somebody in need!

Hi there,
I've updated my editable Year 3 long term planning. It includes a general overview of weekly planning focuses in English, Maths and SEALs. It also includes the key focus in Science/key half term question etc.
You can find the Maths planning + English planning + Learning Challenge + Science planning all uploaded through my account.
Hope it helps :)
Hi there,
I'm RE coordinator and a Year 3 class teacher. I've previously uploaded my long term/whole school RE coverage break down and objectives for each year group.
This is our planning for RE week/Autumn
-2 comprehension sessions on festivals (as part of our shared reading in the morning)
-5 English lessons (on holy books)
-2 learning challenge sessions (making mosaics)
-1 longer food tasting session (in our Science weekly slot)
This was not created for TES and are the actual plans we used but hopefully it still makes sense to outside eyes - useful for ideas and as a starting point.
Hope it helps!
This is our Year 3 Autumn 1 Science Planning + I've included the break down of coverage across the year at a glance (working doc) so you can see what's covered from the Year 3 curriculum and when.
We have 2 hours each week allotted for Science. This planning includes a brief overview of all those sessions with WALTs/WILFs for 14 hours (7 weeks) planning.
We also have 2 hours of Learning Challenge sessions each week (history, geography, music, DT, Art etc) you'll be able to see these other objectives in the yearly overview of coverage that I've included. I've also uploaded the planning for these separately. Our LC sessions are also tied to our central question.
Some of our English sessions have also been linked into this half term's planning (2 week block on Non-Fiction David Attenborough documentaries) and this has also been uploaded separately.
These are the actual plans we used and were not created explicitly for TES. Hopefully they are useful for anyone new to the curriculum or as a starting point.
Hope they help!

We have 2 hours slots each week for LC sessions. This planning includes a brief overview (WALTs/WILFs, key idea) for 14 sessions (7 weeks) + week 8 is RE week and these plans have been uploaded separately.
We also have 2 hours each week allotted for Science. Our Science sessions also slot into the Learning Challenge central question. The planning for this has been uploaded separately.

Hi there, I've uploaded my 'working document' which includes a break down of the national curriculum objectives for Year 3 (Excluding Maths and English) in case it's useful for other people new to the year group to see how I'll be covering them over the year.
Hope it helps!
I use two sound strips to support my Year 1 class in their writing at their tables - I borrowed these from the school I did my training placement at, so I cannot take credit for them! The first contains all the sounds your class need to phonetically attempt any word. The second sound strip colour groups different ways to make the same sound. I have also included the word doc I use to assess which sounds the children can read and write. These assessments help inform my teaching in the lead up to the phonics screening test.
Image showing final product, card insert and heart with message around it to print. Children use 2 different colours on their hands to create a heart in the middle.
A resource I've made to help the children in my class recognise and use the pattern 1 more, 1 less, 10 more and 10 less on a 100 square. In addition with their knowledge of partitioning this helps them add and subtract 2 digit numbers.
I've typed up a variety of simple sentences without full stops. There is then a range of connective cards. The children pick a sentence and a connective and have to extend the sentence with it.
I spent a long time making these cards so thought I would share to save somebody else the trouble!
These vocab cards cover all the vocab in the Nottinghamshire 'Maths Project&' followed by some schools.
I use these in my Year 1 class. I stick them onto card (colour coded to their groups) and write on individual targets. The children have them on their tables during Big Write and at the end of the session they show me their work and together we read back the target and decide if they get a 'tick&'. If they achieve 5 tick they get a class reward, have achieved their target and I stick another target over it - just a tab at the top so you can still see their previous targets. Ofsted love them.
