It also includes instructions for the assembly and finishing of a wooden box and the assembly of an Art Deco themed acrylic and MDF lid with an inlay design. Ideal for use in the teaching of either Product Design or 3D Design, this resource will support students to be more independent during practical activities. This is particularly useful given the current requirements for social distancing between teachers and their students.

The task could be used as a stand alone activity or linked to project work involving the design of a product with an ergonomic handle as it supports primary research into hand sizes.
