I am the BTEC Quality Nominee at Thomas More Catholic School in Purley, where I have been teaching Physical Education at secondary level for over seven years. For the past four years, I have served as Head of BTEC Sport, leading the delivery of the Pearson Tech Award with consistently high student achievement and progress outcomes. In my current role as BTEC Quality Nominee, I am responsible for overseeing the quality assurance, compliance, and successful delivery of all BTEC qualifications across the school — including both Level 2 and Level 3 programmes. This involves supporting subject leads, managing internal verification processes, preparing for external standards verification, and ensuring robust tracking and assessment systems are in place.
