KS3 Learning Diary I have created a Learning Diary to be used primarily at KS3 but can be adapted for KS4. The diary has been created to be printed as a booklet. The diary can be used as a plenary activity at the end of the lesson. It includes: Cover Page Introduction Page Diary Logs Page Teacher Comments Page Students use the diary as a log at the end of every lesson. Included on each diary log page: Lesson Title Summary of the lesson (What they have learnt, what has happened, What they have found difficult/ easy, What can they do to improve next lesson) Keywords (Students to write a keyword from the lesson and explain what that keyword means) Feeling Feedback (3 circles - Happy, Ok, Sad - students to circle the face of how they feel about the topic at the end of the lesson) Please leave a comment.

Extension Cards

Here are a set of 8 extension cards for students to tackle when they have completed any classwork. They have been designed to extend students learning and it asks them to take the context of the lesson and apply it with the use of literacy and numeracy focused extension tasks. There is a a big emphasis on literacy and numeracy in these extension cards. On one side is the link to an activity and on the reverse is the explanation of the activity for the student. I have stuck them around my board in my classroom and students are encouraged to pick one at random and apply the use of that task to the context of the lesson. You can print these cards back to back (2 sided) and then laminate. Please comment.

This is an interactive plenary for a KS3 lesson on SOFTWARE. The questions progressively get harder the higher the number. AP = achievement points (e.g. house points, stars, stickers) to reward the students. This is a fully editable resource and you can change the questions to suit your unit of study. Answers are given in the notes section for some of the questions.
