A clear and concise reference guide to the Spanish tenses, the subjunctive mood and the passive voice - including word order for negatives and reflexive verbs. Particularly suitable for higher level GCSE and A Level students who want to be able to express their own ideas, but who struggle to remember the rules for each tense. Slide 1 = Simple tenses - present, future, preterite, imperfect and conditional - usage, formation of stem, endings, irregulars and word order for negatives and reflexive verbs. Slide 2 = Compound tenses - perfect, pluperfect, future perfect and conditional perfect tenses - usage, full declension of haber, formation of past participles, and the continuous tenses including estar in the present, imperfect and future tenses and the formation of the present participle. Also includes common irregulars and word order for negatives and reflexive verbs. Slide 3 = Subjunctive mood - usage, formation of stem, endings, irregulars and word order for negatives and reflexive verbs, lists of common triggers. Passive voice - examples of usage in different tenses, full declension of ser, formation of past participles and agreements.

Vocabulary and grammar tests for Year 13 French. Have used these as a diagnostic test at the start of the year and then given again every half term as a quick progress check. Both tests double-sided (60 marks each) and complete with answers. Vocabulary includes nouns, verbs, adjectives and other. Grammar includes verbs (all tenses and subjunctive), direct and indirect object pronouns, relative pronouns, negatives and demonstrative adjectives. Similar available separately for Year 12.

4 differentiated grids to help students to add more detail to their own writing. They are presented individually on single slides and as core and stretch combined and challenge and super challenge combined and with all 4 levels on one slide for mixed ability use. The categories on the grids reflect the headings/boxes on my GCSE Essentials Learning Mats. Core and Stretch reflect the expectations of GCSE Foundation Level (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/gcse-french-essentials-learning-mat-foundation-12043959) and Challenge and Super Challenge are aimed at Higher Level candidates (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/gcse-french-essentials-learning-mat-higher-12043962). Pupils start with either a noun (le foot) or a noun and verb (jouer au foot) then use the grids to add to and uplevel the sentence. The slides can be used in a variety of ways: as a starter or plenary as a card game as a game of consequences as a board game
