Construction Cards - Human & Physical Features

(0)
These construction cards contain both human and physical features to inspire your pupils. Each cards has a “I can build a …” challenge, a bold image and a further sentence to say the location of the feature. Set 1: features of the UK Set 2: features from around the world Each set has 24 cards included for a total of 48 cards. Each set has 12 human features and 12 physical features. Each card is approximately A5 size. These are great in a tough spot or construction corner and are perfect to reinforce identifying geographical features for KS1 pupils. Laminate the cards and they can be used year after year. I’ve also included a sweet little construction area bunting in blue (this is my favourite for my classroom). Each flag is approximately A5 (slightly smaller). Of course you can resize to meet the needs of your area. Human and Physical Features Clip Cards

These clip cards are a great way for students to practice their recognition of human and physical features using a multiple choice system. 32 cards are included which cover a wide range of geographical features including all listed in KS1 National Curriculum. Each card has two possible answers. Students select the correct answer by clipping a clothespin, peg or paper clip to it. I like to laminate these cards so students can simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper to hand out to your class at the end of the lesson; pupils circle the correct answer and hand in as a great exit ticket or plenary to the lesson.
