This lesson is aimed at a Year 9 group. It is based on the Studio vert 3 book Module 3 Unit 2. The topic is: Le monde est un village Objectives: learning languages, using on peut. Saying what you can do with languages. This pack incudes: - A lesson and working plan -The main powerpoint lesson with comments for each activity / also include fun timers -A differentiated worksheet for the listening Lesson: -Starter: dictionary race -Introducing "On peut" with video -Find the French for -Listening ex4p57 adapted and differentiated for bottom/top set -Answers of listening included in slide -True or false game -Nought and crosses plenary This was an observed lesson which my year 9 group enjoyed.

This resource is about activities on the internet. It is aimed for a year 8 group. It is based on the 'studio 2 rouge' textbook but could also be suitable for students following the 'studio 2 vert' textbook. Module 1 " T'es branché(e)?" Unit 4 "Que fais tu quand tu es connecté(e)? ) lesson 1 Objectives: * to talk about the internet * Using aller/faire This resource includes: -a powerpoint (main lesson/activities) -a detailed lesson plan as guidance. -a lesson starter worksheet -a reading activity -a speaking activity (dice required) The powerpoint includes: - A starter activity -Think Pair share about cognates -A reading activity- written by myself (French native speaker) including studio's vocab. Answers are provided. -A speaking game plenary (dice required) Lesson plan is a guidance on how to use the powerpoint and its activities. The other two worksheets are for the activities. A good 2 hour lesson on the topic of holidays. This was originally made for a top set Year 9 group but could be used for any class studying that topic. To be able to talk about the type of holidays you prefer. (à la mer, à la campagne, en famille, etc..) This lesson includes the following activities: -video to introduce topic -match ups (2) -Class versus the teacher -Nought and crosses -Sorting out opinions (+ +/- / -) -separate the sentence -speaking activity -writing activity -dice speaking activity (you require dice) Notes: any worksheet/match up needs to be printed from powerpoint slides. *You can delete sample wordle once you have downloaded the powerpoint*

This lesson covers the vocabulary from the book (activites on facebook ), infinitives along with the present tense of -ER verbs and frequency phrases. 2 to 3 lessons worth depending on group. This resource is about the perfect tense. It is aimed for a year 8 group. It is based on the 'studio 2 rouge' textbook but could also be suitable for students following the 'studio 2 vert' textbook. Module 1 " T'es branché(e)?" Unit 5 "Qu'est-ce que tu as fait hier soir" Lesson 1 Objectives: to be able to say what you did yesterday using the perfect tense. This resource includes: -a powerpoint (main lesson/activities) - cards that can be laminated - starter activity -a reading activity (to stick on different walls around the class) -a grid for the reading activity. The powerpoint includes: - A starter activity -Presentation of vocab -Stand-up game -reading activity -writing activity -plenary Lesson plan is not included (instructions are on powerpoint) For the stand-up activity, each pupil is given a card which represents a past tense activity. When the teacher say their activity in French-they have to stand up. (pictures+English on the powerpoint for support) - -Listening activity from book.
