Recommended listening for students to explore music on their own. A listening task to test some basic analysis skills. A keyboard exercise that students can play on their own or split LH/RH as a pair. The lesson can be used as a stand alone lesson, or as we’ve used in our department, as a starting point to introduce a new topic before then moving onto a practical task that can be continued into two or three lessons depending on students’ abilities.
