This 2 page worksheet is an imaginative way to introduce children to the Olympic Games in Brazil . 'Close your eyes and imagine that you are a World Class athlete who will be participating in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. You will travel from your country to Brazil to compete in your sport. Afterwards you will have time to soak up the carnival atmosphere and cultural sites of Rio, sample the local food and then visit the Amazon Rainforest before returning home.' This 41 page detailed football themed creative art activity pack has been designed to enthuse and engage children in a fun, experimental way. This pack contains 90 questions and prompts for End of Year, Back to School and All about Me group discussion & reflection activities in the classroom. The cards have been designed using a modern mobile phone-style template to appeal to this age group and give the activity a sense of fun and curiosity. Custom build your own classroom question packs by selecting the question cards relevant to your activity and students (suggested use for years 3-6). Some questions are specific to End of Year reflection, some for Back to School and All About Me Icebreakers etc whilst many are more general and can be used all year round. Carefully researched questions have been chosen to enable students to promote discussion around: - themselves, their peers, their families - their likes and dislikes, challenges and successes - preferred learning styles, areas where support is needed - plans for summer, and summer memories reflection - fun and imagination, superheroes, dream destinations, careers etc - open ended prompts, such as, I aim to, I imagine that, I worry that, I hope… - how they feel about the start and end of the year - achievements, goal setting - books, movies - bullying, healthy eating ,sport - helping others, getting support - blank template cards for teachers and students to create their own questions This Pack Contains: 1. 36 ‘phone template’ cards containing 90 questions and prompts 2. Have fun this Christmas and engage students creatively with this Instagram style, 'tech' mobile phone/tablet Christmas Doodle App 'Art Phone', drawing and writing activity. This activity invites students to cut out and make their own festive doodle art-phone, and then to complete the 'Texting Santa' questions and to write a 'Dear Santa' letter. The finished templates measure 4.8 x 9.5 inches. 1. The doodle page: Illustrate the 9 festive objects with thumbnail doodles or drawings, Christmas Tree, Bauble, Angel, Snowman, Snowflake, Santa, Gift, Holly, Stocking.
