Key terms are underlined. Comic Sans font is used in all PPTs to make them more accessible to students presenting with dyslexia. Also included is a key term/definition summary page which can be used to assess the students at the end of the topic.

A 64 slide PowerPoint Presentation on the subject of Energy from a geographical perspective. Discusses Natural Resources, renewable and non-renewable energy sources. There are lots of diagrams/illustrations and videos embedded into the ppt. There are also several ‘to-do’/‘homework’ slides which direct the students to their textbook or activity book. We use ‘Geography in Action’ but these slides can be adapted to suit your own class/books.

A cloze test based on the concept of environmental stewardship. Includes all the key words associated with the topic. Good as a homework exercise, recap activity or exam.

a 2 page cloze test (fill in the blanks) based on the CSPE concept ‘Law’. Based on Irish curriculum. I use this as an end of unit assessment of key terms. I also use peer-correction with this activity which I find works very well and keeps everyone on task!
