This lesson / resource is about Analysis of Published Accounts with the emphasis on liquidity ratios and the advantages / disadvantages of using ratios. This lesson follows the first lesson on Performance Ratios which is available here This lesson has the following learning objectives and has been designed for GCSE / iGCSE Business Studies Learning objectives/Outcomes: Understand how to calculate Liquidity Rations Current ratio Acid test Gearing ratio Know the Advantages / Disadvantages of using ratios This download includes: A full lesson PowerPoint with answers which shows the liquidity ratios with examples and practice A Scenario with answers that tests all the ratios All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required. You can also edit the Publisher files to create your own and there are blanks which you can print out and then get students to complete their own cards for any other vocabulary they want to revise. This resource is a great way of randomly choosing a student from your class, you can either use it as a standalone presentation or paste the slides into your actual lessons! Most of my resources are for Business or Computing Related Topics but this activity can be used from any subject! With provision for student names in classes of 10/16/20 and 30 students on a wheel that can be spun and stopped randomly to choose a random student.
