This resource comprises of three A4 Knowledge Organisers for the new Paper 2 topics in the latest OCR specification. Each A4 sheet is dedicated to each of the three sections of Paper Two: 2.1.Socio-cultural influences in sport, 2.2. Sports Psychology and 2.3 Health, Fitness & Well-being. Each sheet acts as a brilliant ‘at-a-glance’ revision guide for students and contains concise information regarding the main points of each topic. There are also blank copies for sections 2.1 and 2.2 which make a great memory recall task for students to complete.
This brand new resource consists of 30 separate power point slides, each one is specifically linked (and labelled for convenience) to a section of the new specification. All sections in Paper 1 and Paper 2 are covered, ensuring that this resource could be used in every lesson over the duration of the course. Each slide contains one or two images (the source) and then four questions, two of which are related to the source, the other two linked to something else related to the topic. There are numerous ways in which these resources can be used:
As a starter.
As part of a plenary.
Printed as a work sheet task.
Used on the board to create discussions and class debates.
As an assessed piece of work to check for understanding.
This resource is fully adaptable if required and a blank pro-forma is included if you wanted to add your own using the same format.
