Instructions: Cut out the words on the grid sheet and place them inside a container. Give each player a bingo card ( cut out each bingo card ). As you draw a word from the container, ask the players to cross them out on their grid sheet. The first player who gets 3 in a row, wins!

A 20 question quiz in which learners will be shown a picture on screen from a well-known movie. The learners will they to guess the name of the movie and the answers are revealed at the end of the PPT.

**Instructions ** Cut out the five punctuation cards and place them in front of you. On the next page, you will be given a range of phrases and sentences. Each is missing a particular punctuation mark. Place each sentence / phrase underneath the correct punctuation card. Example: If the sentence reads: ‘Andys car had a flat tyre,’ then this sentence should be placed under the ‘apostrophe mark’ card.

This style of questioning will feature in learners Functional Skills Reading Assessment.

Improve your learners’ reading skills with this skimming and scanning exercise.

Get your learners to create their own magical creature to add to ‘Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them’ book. They will start by looking at an extract from the book and doing a task on this. Then they will begin to create their own creature. Please note that this PPT and Worksheet was not my original idea and I used FREE resources that I found on TES and the internet to put into a PPT.
