Used for a lesson on problem solving linked to Sir Walter Raleigh. Chn had these cut up journey times on their table and they found the shortest and longest possible journey times by adding two together.

1. Number squares. Set of four for printing. 2. Simple subtraction - differentiated, can be displayed on IWB to copy or printed off. 3. Same for addition 4, 5, 6. Division and times questions/sums 7, 8, 9. number tiles for sequencing TU and HTU 10. Number square for chn to colour patterns they can find. 11. Diff. 3 way continue no. sequences 12. Coloured tiles for problem solving. How many diff shapes can you make? 13. Missing numbers, print off a couple for centre of tables or use on IWB

Simple worksheet. 6 questions easy to adapt. Children to split dots into two circles and then write how many dots are in one circle. BA - numbers 2-12 A - numbers 8 - 20 Children to draw their own dots in and then split AA - numbers 24 - 40 Good for assessment. Please leave feedback :) Thank you!

Simple pictogram for showing favourite hobbies, can be adapted for different purposes or used as a block chart.

Venn diagram used for my top ability, no group names (they choose!) and three circles all interlocking...makes for very interesting discussions

Must - colour in half of a whole shape. Should - colour in segments in a shape. Could - colour in segments in shape and record the relevant fraction.

A variety of differentiated venn diagram worksheets and plan. Can be altered easily to fit your topic.

Differentiated simple worksheets on finding fractions. Children draw dots in groups to find half, quarter or 3-quarter of objects. Time saver.

Differentiated problems. BA - simple picture addition A - - and + problems AA - very challenging measurement problems (working with support) Names in problems can easily be changed - change them to names of children in your class, always creates some giggles! Estimating volume - to start having a think about capacity. Jug measuring - For top ability group with support, thinking about measuring in ml and counting in 100s and 1000s. Challenging - good scaffold for relevant vocab use. Measuring out into cups - Used for my BA group to do with support. Some time will be needed to collect resources but if you put a note in the staffroom or ask parents these things can be collected faster (then keep them for next time) As said on sheet adding food colouring and sequins makes it that bit more exciting! Thank you :)

Simple sheet with coins/notes as visuals. Children must work-out how much change would be given.
