This document consists of questions which assess pupils’ knowledge of the diet and nutrition topic. I then got pupils to use their class notes/textbook to fill in any answers they missed or got incorrect in a different coloured pen for a homework task.

This lesson gets students to explore the impact that commercialisation has on managers, coaches, officials and spectators. Includes an independent student task and also a homework task.

Lesson objectives: To be able to explain how oxygen is transported to the working muscles during exercise. To be able to explain the factors that affect the dissociation of oxygen from haemoglobin during exercise.
