Six Forms Help You Organise Your Class

Six Forms Help You Organise Your Class

(0)
Six forms to help make your life easier! These forms will help when students are absent from lessons. The five forms are: 1. while you were away - if a student is absent, fill in this form so they know what work they need to do and any homework that was set. This eliminates the what did I miss conversation at the beginning of each lesson. I would fill it out right at the beginning of the lesson so you don't forget! 2. Miss/Sir i won't be in lessons - a form for students to fill in letting you know when and why they wont be in lessons. This will help you plan for their absence and set them some work while they are away. 3. See me - a note to pass round registers or to the student in class about when they can catch up on the work they missed. 4. Student excuse - a form for students to fill when they do not complete homework, this helps you understand why more discretely. It also means you can keep a track of who forgets and how many times. 5. When will i be getting a visit from you - if students have missed work and need to catch up they fill in this form so you know when they are free. 6. Have i missed you - if a student hasn't received the work that they missed they fill in this form so you know what work they need. I hope these help you in your everyday teaching. Please review if you liked it or if you can offer any constructive criticism. Apologies for any mistakes that i may have neglected. Dulce et Decorum Est Lesson

Dulce et Decorum Est Lesson

(0)
A lesson on the poem Dulce et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen which talks students through the poem in detail. I have included lots of information and help in order to make the resource work for both higher and lower level students. The lesson contains lots of thinking time for students in order to get them thinking about the poem individually rather than being told. The power-point does not follow any exam board specification but I have done many resources that follow the WJEC spec. Included in the booklet and The Powerpoint is: -Starter -Analysis of Language -Context -Meaning of the title -Structure -Attitudes themes and ideas -Rhyming scheme -Plenary I have made many resources for the poems in the WJEC Anthology book so if you are looking for revision materials i have guides and power-points in my shop for each resource. There are also lessons for each poem similar to this one. Please follow the link to my shop if you are interested in these resources. Note - the cover slide and plenary uses the same slide, pictures that relate to the poem. The cover slide is for date, title and LO whereas in the plenary i ask students to explain why each picture is there. Please leave any constructive criticism or positive feedback below and apologies for any mistakes or inaccuracies you may find. La Belle Dame Sans Merci Revision Notes

(0)
6 pages of revision notes on the poem La Belle Dame Sans Merci by John Keats. The notes are broken down into 10 subsections: -Context/ background -Outline of the story -In depth analysis in the form of poem annotations -The Structure of the Poem -Understanding Keats' message -Themes of La Belle Dame Sans Merci -A feminist perspective on La Belle Dame -Looking at the poem through the lens of tragedy -Applying theories to La Belle Dame Sans Merci -Thoughts after studying (discussion and unanswered questions) The notes are written for the AQA English Literature A-level B, but there are no specific references to exam questions so this could be used for any board. There are no interactive features of this resource (apart from the rhetorical questions at the end), the information is given in a comprehensive way. Apologies for any mistakes you may find - I've checked through several times but typos may still be lurking! I've made many GCSE poetry revision guides, PowerPoints and lessons which can be found along with more English and History Resources in my shop -- https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/lydiafirth
