IWB used to redo the present tense with KS4 who have forgotten it - back to basics!

A table of the topics covered since the current GCSE started. I made it to see if I could predict the writing questions for this year’s exam. You might like to also see if you can work out what the students will be asked!

Introduction of Les Restos du Coeur and their work to year 13. Brief explanation in English. The Restos du Coeur song linked in with a brief listening exercise. Finally a couple of exercises based on the new campaign for Winter 2014. Students watch the video and answer in French, then a gapfill. Could be homework. It took my students about 50 minutes in a computer room - they could control the video themsleves. Answer sheet given.

Sentence builder to make short but correct (!) sentences about having animals/pets. Uses all of avoir in the present tense plus negative and j’avais. I made this for my year 7 lower ability to do as an independent task. They are asked to write about their own pets at the end.

There is a sentence / paragraph builder on the topic of the Jubilee weekend and what your plans are and some translation suggestions underneath to help students start to use the grid. The idea is that they use the grid to help them write a paragraph. They can stick to the suggestions or add own ideas.
