I have been a director of sport at various locations throughout the UK for over two decades. In recent years I have taken up the opportunity to establish an educational consultancy specialising in supporting both Primary and Secondary schools with their planning and delivery of Physical Education and School Sport. I have been the contracted educational consultant on a number of key National projects and initiatives including the recent update of the BBC GCSE PE Bitesize practical materials, which I scripted and advised in all aspects throughout the process. I have also provided consultancy for NGB, Local authorities and Academy chains. Previous to teaching I worked in professional sports such as Football and Athletics working alongside professional coaches and working with International performers. In the 1990s I coached a Women's PL Football Club in the National League long before it was a paid profession, trendy to do so, or a pathway into the men's game!!
