Team building and OAA challenges

(0)
Over 30 team building and outdoor adventurous activities for that can be used within the PE curriculum and for both student and staff team building workshops. I have been creating and adding to these over the last 7 years to provide a wide range of fun and creative tasks that have a strong emphasis on problem solving and teamwork. I have used them within my PE lessons as part of an OAA unit of work, with my form groups at the start of the year, with A level students to develop teamwork, with staff as part of a full team building day and i also delivered these to fellow professionals at a PE conference. Hopefully they can give you some ideas on how to create and implement simple tasks using minimal equipment to further develop communication, teamwork, leadership and problem solving skills.

101 Bodyweight Exercises - Circuit Training cards - Fitness

(0)
101 Bodyweight Exercises The resource contains 101 interactive circuit training instructional cards for different bodyweight exercises focusing on abdominals, arms, legs, and whole body. Each instructional card comes with exercise images, simplified instructions and a QR code linked to a 30 second clip of the exercise. It is an easy to use resource with multiple uses that can be adapted to suit your students needs. Simply print off the cards (I would suggest 2 per A4 page) and use them as instructional cards during circuit training or fitness lessons. if you print them on different coloured card e.g. Abdominals on yellow card, arms on blue etc. then you will be able to easily tailor circuit stations for specific body parts or to allow recovery. You could also simply print the QR codes only for a random choice of station activities. It also comes with a master overview which can be adapted as a recording sheet to track progress.

Pokemon Go Orienteering and Maths challenge - PE and cross curricular

A great orienteering course to engage students and the wider community. With 30 interactive Pokemon control points (with QR links) to find, this resource will engage students and enhance their map reading skills. Each Pokemon has 6 data points to note and these are then used to answer Maths challenges with 2 sets of 20 questions created that are suitable for primary and secondary students. The resources can be very adaptable to suit your needs: Stand alone orienteering course Stand alone maths challenges Cross curricular work Control points can be personalised with your school logo and either put around the school, hall or classroom. Simply print in colour with 2-4 per page (depending on intended size), laminate, hole punch the corners and place in your desired locations. Personally, I am the head of PE in an international school, so I used this to engage students, parents and staff in safe, socially distanced physical activity in my local area during the movement restrictions due to Covid-19 and this was extremely well received. It spanned a 7km course. Resources are uploaded in office but links to Google docs/slides are there (as these are my preferred format). If you need to make edits, simply ‘make a copy’ and the ownership will then be yours.
