If they run out of colours they could use stripes, spots etc. If you are short on time they could number the boxes instead of colouring them in. The second sheet is for students to fill in the words as they find them and then to use as a vocab list. This is useful for a starter, a cover lesson or a homework

Spanish Photos for Reading Comprehension
This is a 95 page power point. Each page has a photo with items to read in Spanish. I have taken these photos myself in Spanish speaking countries, deliberately choosing reading matter which would be useful in the classroom.. I have used these with my own classes and they tell me it makes reading Spanish more interesting.

3. A page practising giving your opinion of hobbies.
Métro 2 Module 1 Salut! PPT for revision
This is a power point I use to revise phrases of likes and dislikes of activities. It also revises opinions. The phrase in English appears first and the answer on the next click. This gives the pupils the opportunity to give you the answer orally or it can be written down and pupils can check their own answers on the next click. For example the first slide is -to go to the beach- Pupils say or write down -aller à la plage- You can then reveal the answer with the correct spelling. Pupils then get the prompt -I like going to the beach- They say or write -J'aime aller à la plage- So they are building a sentence using the previous phrase.
20 pages in total (including opinions)
Numbers 1 - 2000 COLOUR MATCH (French)
A colour match grid to practise numbers 1-2000. Pupils match the numbers by colouring them or shading them the same colour. Useful for homework, lesson starter or cover lesson.

Places in the Town - French booklet
This is one in a series of booklets which can be used by the teacher or a substitute teacher. Each booklet starts with a list of the vocabulary necessary to complete the booklet. Each booklet offers a variety of activities. Pupils can work through at their own pace. The activities will help the pupils to learn the vocabulary of that topic.
I have made these booklets to leave for classes I have to miss due to meetings, illness etc. I have also used them myself when I just need a class to get on with something.
Substitute teachers, even non-linguists, have reported back to me that the booklets work very well. If a pupil gets stuck the teacher can always find the answer in the booklet.
Para empezar - Spanish Towns and Cities
Starter where pupils colour in the towns and cities which are in Spain and leave those which are not. There are three grids on one page to save on photocopying. Answers included.
Transport - French Booklet
This is a 21-page booklet which can be used as such or as separate worksheets/ vocab list.

4. Wordsearch (1)
5. Word Scramble (1)
6. Pictures to label
7. Means of transport ( by car, by train etc.)
8. Vocab list without the English for students to test themselves.
You can choose which sheets to put into a booklet and which order to put them in. I use the vocab sheet with different activities to leave for a substitute teacher in my absence. When making a booklet don't forget to take out the answers. The answers are clear and can also be left for a substitute teacher, especially if they are not a French teacher.

Spanish Hotels - Loop Game
Set of cards to cut up and laminate. Each card has a picture and a phrase which do not match. Distribute the cards at random to pupils in the class. One pupil starts by saying the phrase on their card. The person who has the picture to illustrate what this person has said hold up their card. They then read their phrase and it goes round the class in a loop until it comes back to the first person. This encourages all pupils to say something. You can time the class to see if they can speed up the second and third times they play.
