This is a colour match exercise to practise vocabulary from the AQA syllabus. Students find a pair which mean the same, in English and Spanish. They then colour them the same colour. If they run out of colours they could use stripes, spots etc. If you are short on time they could number the boxes instead of colouring them in. Pupils use the letters of JOYEUX ANNIVERSAIRE to find 20 words in French. They then write them in the grid provided and write the English next to them. They could use a dictionary. Letters are printed at the bottom of the page to be cut out and re-arranged to help the pupils to find words. The second page is an easier grid as the English for the words they are looking for is provided. The third page has an answer sheet.
