Here are two multiplication and division strategies. The formal written multiplication method (also known as the column method) show with and without an exchange. And the formal written division method (also know as the bus stop method) shown with and without a remainder. I use these in packs so if my children are stuck, they can use these to help them! Here is a punch card which can be used as a reward tracker in the aims of a bigger reward. When your pupil shows great behaviour or does an amazing piece of work, punch a hole in their card. Once they have 10 holes then they can recieve the their reward. It could perhaps be 5 minutes extra play, iPad time or chance to pick something out of your reward box! I’ve included the PDF and the powerpoint, in which there are 4 per page when I have printed to get my ideal size. Here’s a display that I have up in my classroom, for when children are finished and they don’t know what do yet. These are blank, so you have room to put your own bimoji in place of where mine would be. The foliage was part of resource I have bought myself and I do not have the licence to share, therefore there is no foliage and it is blank. These pencils can be used to help a child edit their work but also acts as a checklist, asking them questions such as “Have I used capital letters and full stops?”, “Have I written in paragraphs” etc. Included is PDF file of 8 for smaller pencils ideal to put in books and a PDF file of 3 of bigger pencils, which are perhaps better suited to SEN pupils.
