I have been a secondary school science teacher for 9 years and have just started using more resources that pupils can use in their interactive notebooks. I have found these are going down very well with pupils and they are using them throughout the year to revise and recap. All my resources are tried and tested and are up to date with the new curriculum at KS3 and KS4.

For this there is a card sort with the answers on the PowerPoint. It then goes through how to work out magnification and there is a worksheet on working out magnification and actual size. Answers are in the PowerPoint. Pupils have loved this, especially the images at the start and the card sort.

An A4 sheet to print in colour and laminate - it basically contains all the information from the specification on bacterial, viral, protist and fungal diseases. Then give each pupil an A4 foldable sheet. They cut out both boxes, write key points under the flaps and on the second square and then stick the flaps onto the second square. Can then be used for revision and testing each other. Good for all abilities.
