Take your documentation to the next level with this template to track parent and guardian contacts. With this simple but user-friendly format, you are able to track the parents you talk to, the format you communicate with them through (such as email, text, call, visit, or note). There are also sections for the concern and the results from the communicaiton. This serves as a great format for data collection during conversations with administrators, co-teachers, and parents as you reference the dates for progress monitoring. Increase student engagement with this Tic Tac Toe choice activity on Fractions. You can set it up as you like for students to have to include the middle box or a right side, etc. The idea is that students pick three assignments in a row to complete. They are all project based. This can either be implemented as a homework, where students do one a night, or as an in-class assignment in which students complete one a day. At the end of the week, presentations can be completed. This is a great way to increase participating and engagement in learning and homework. Topics include making collages, presentations, stories, and more. They are all related to identifying fractions, and multiplying fractions.
