Literacy word wheels that I used in tutor time. I gave students 5 minutes to create as many words as they could (sometimes with a "rule" such as must start with middle letter or include middle letter). Assessment Record, Marking Sheets and Skill Triangle - life after levels, no levels

(0)
The assessment record sheet is stuck into the front of each students book for them to record their achievement at each assessment. These can be pre-written onto the sheet before they are printed or added to the sheet by students once the assessment is completed. The marking sheets have been adapted to focus on a % or a skill rather than a level or GCSE grade. There is a space left for the school logo to be added to these. The skill triangle is a point of reference for students showing how they can make progress at KS3. Directed Improvement and Reflection Time DIRT Marking Sticker and Powerpoint

Directed Improvement and Reflection Time DIRT Marking Sticker and Powerpoint

(0)
The aim of the sticker was to reduce the need to write out the same comments across all books being marked leaving more time to write constructive comments for students to improve their work. Students are then given time the following lesson to work through their work and complete the targets that are in their books as well as correcting spellings themselves using the dictionaries that are available and answering questions that I have asked. These are printed on 4 per page stickers but to reduce costs the targets could be printed on 8 per page stickers that could then be stuck onto the front of student's books and referred back to, along with the PowerPoint, in the lesson. An assessment for students studying AQA's Citizenship GCSE course. The focus of the questions are on the "Rights and Responsibilities" topic and the total marks available are 40 (half the marks that are available in a full paper.) This paper is intended to be completed as the real exam would be with space to write included in the paper and the bottom half of the front has been designed to imitate that of the real exam.
