Using mental health agencies such as TimeToChange, students explore the difference between mental health, mental illness, bust some common myths/stereotypes, encouraged to discuss issues surrounding MH/MI. How to respond to people who have MH/MI. A physiological look at the brain when someone is depressed, underling the impacts depression has on learning, memory and flourishing. Please note, some students can be sensitive towards this session. Consider your audience carefully, set some ground rules and provide students with a safe place to share thoughts, and/or exit the class if necessary.

I've put together this resource to help understand what it is, to help talk about the issues and using a 6 domain of resilience to get students thinking about how they can overcome these (and other mental health) issues.
