These are a fun way to play at Christmas time. IDEAS for use: (1) Use them for feedback (eg put questions on your whiteboard, and put a present containing stars next to the correct answers. Use these Phonic Fish to blend and segment phase 5 phonemes. Think of the number of phonemes in the word. Click on the mouth of the fish and it will do a ‘phoneme count.’ Click on the grapheme to hear the phoneme. Click above the grapheme to hide/reveal a ‘sound button.’
