A simple worksheet that asks students to identify the silhouettes of cities from around the world and locate them on a world map. Two exercises are presented, one for the more able students with no clues, the second with the names of the cities at the top from which students can match up with each silhouette. Students are take to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology's website where they will be able to obtain information about east coast lows and an Australian news' website where they will get information of the impact of this extreme weather event.

A worksheet for the Year 10 Australian Curriculum Geography topic: Geography of Human Wellbeing. A 2-page worksheet that looks at development and its impact on human wellbeing. The worksheet takes the students to a number of good websites to answer questions that require them to define developed and developing countries, identify the characteristics of developed and developing countries, and map a number of these countries on a world map. The questions require some thought on the student's part as well as providing the opportunity for good class discussion.

This worksheet is designed primarily for the Australian Curriculum for the topic Geographies of Interconnections but may be useful in any jurisdiction where there is a focus on globalisation from a geographic perspective. The first page is an example of a young person's connections with other countries in the world and requires students to map the countries to which that person is connected. The second page then requires the student to identify the connections he/she has with other countries in the world and then asks them to map those connections.

This is a 5-page worksheet that requires students to investigate the 2017 Economics Intelligence Unit’s Liveability Survey of 140 of the world’s largest cities. Students are directed to a website that provides a summary of the 2017 from which they can answer the questions on the worksheet. It is designed for the Australian Curriculum Geography unit "Places are for Living "; but will suit other jurisdictions where a syllabus has a focus on liveability as part of an urban geography unit of work. Suggested answers are provided as a separate document in the package.
