Start with vertical and horizontal graphs and graphs of different steepness as a start, before moving on to plotting graphs with the same gradient but different y-intercept (discuss y = mx + c). Have pupils have a little more practice and use Ronaldo's Rockets as plenaries before moving on to reading graphs of the form y = mx + c.
