This bundle includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of integers. There are two types of frames and two levels of complexity in each package of this bundle. Each puzzle is self checking and requires minimal set up.
This Magic Puzzle Board is a self checking set of puzzles that allow students to practice converting units of capacity.
You can teach this skill in a variety of ways, though I find using ratios and unit rates to be a wonderful lead in for this topic.
This is a self checking puzzle that students love to do! You can customize this puzzle based on complexity or time with 4 options to choose from.
If you like this puzzle, make sure to check out my store "The Merry Mathematician" for more puzzles and games for math stations.
A fun game for students to practice subtracting integers!
Students place each puzzle piece so that each value is connected to an equivalent value. Pairs of equivalent values should be both vertical and horizontal.
It is a self checking puzzle, since it can only be solved completely with correct combinations.
Two levels of complexity
Level 1: Subtracting Positive Integers (Outcomes may be negative)
Level 2: Subtracting Positive and Negative Integers
Two Puzzle Frame Options
-Puzzles with frames are included so that students can solve the puzzles quickly for 10-15 minute station work.
-Puzzles without frames give students a greater challenge and are more appropriate for group or 15-20 minute stations.
This product is a wonderful companion for students to use as they learn about the IB Attitudes and reflect upon their own behavior.

This product includes discussion starters and prompts to help students engage in meaningful conversations with their teammates as they do group projects and work together to solve problems. These were created with math in mind but could easily be utilized in any other subject area where students work together!
I use these as reminders for my students by laminating them and taping them onto the tables or placing them inside acrylic displays at my collaborative stations.
There are 8 different backgrounds and 2 styles. The pre-made product is wonderful for easy use and quick implementation while the blank templates allow students to brainstorm their own ideas and create a document which reflects their beliefs and values concerning group work.
There are discussion starters for when your students are...
"Just getting started"
"When you want to share an idea"
"When you need someone to explain their thinking"
"When they disagree"
"When they need to refocus"
For example, when a student needs a friend to explain their thinking they might say...
-Can you help me understand…
-What did you mean when you said…
-Can you tell me more about…
-Can you explain how you…
-Is there another way you could explain that?
-Why did you choose this strategy?
-How do you know you are right?
Thank you so much for your consideration in this product! I hope it fits your needs and proves to be a helpful resource!
