24 heures chrono! Studio 2, Rouge, Module 2, pp.34, 35

These 7 worksheets provide a series of differentiated tasks based on Module 2 of Studio 2 Rouge. Many of the exercises will improve your students' reading comprehension skills and there are tasks which are designed to develop an understanding of 'j'ai' or 'je suis' + past participle. The tasks vary in difficulty but have been written to help students acquire key vocabulary and verbs through repetition and writing from memory. There is a template for listening exercise 1, p.34 and a ppt. which provides help with vocabulary prior to the listening task, with answers. There are 2 crosswords, (one easy and one more challenging), which provide an alternative way to develop reading skills. These worksheets have been meticulously designed and are at least as nicely presented as any resource you might buy from a respectable publisher. Please don't be put off by the preview image which at times looks distorted with text not fitting into boxes or lines missing from tables, etc. (due, I think, to the inclusion of tables/grids/text boxes); the actual resource looks professional in appearance when downloaded. G.C.S.E. French - Theme 2 - Poverty and homelessness

(0)
This resource comprises 2 worksheets and 2 powerpoints and is ideal for students of low to average ability. Based on the G.C.S.E. topic of poverty and homelessness, it could be described as a self-contained resource which assumes very little previous knowledge of the language. 15 items of key vocabulary are practised repeatedly via a range of reading, writing and speaking tasks. This ‘less is more’, repetitive approach is particularly suitable for lower ability students who find it difficult to learn and retain key language. The ppts. provide all the tasks included in the worksheets, making it easier to present the language to your students and reinforce pronunciation. They also provide all the answers to each task so that self / peer marking is possible. Thanks for looking.
