Our Chief Education Advisor Lord Jim Knight recently visited schools in Loudoun County, Virginia to talk about the use of edtech in schools. Under Superintendent Eric Williams, Loudoun schools last year launched a new instructional model system-wide called One to the World. It encourages teachers to design project-based lessons that ask students to learn from others around the world—such as speaking with an author through Skype or Twitter—to solve real problems and to exhibit their work to a larger audience.
