El Futuro

El Futuro

PPT used to introduce the regular formation of the Spanish Future tense. Quite a jam packed lesson, with a variety of activities to engage pupils in the understanding and use of this tense. I had used a star wars moving screen for the gap fill, created by Monsieur MFL on TES, you can find this on his page for a small price, well worth it for something different! 4Pics1Verb- the letters under pictures are not linked to answer, pupils should use a dictionary for this. Ideas influenced/ inspired by many users on TES. Thank you :)

A whole engaging lesson that combines PowerPoint presentations, a 4-minute video with optional subtitles in Spanish filmed in Madrid, and several audio activities. The goals of this lesson (for pre-intermediate students) are: Grammar: affirmative and negative words (alguien, algo, algún, alguna, algunas, nadie, nada, ninguno, ningún, ninguna). Vocabulary: school life. Communication skills: how to explain plans. The lesson comes with a very detailed explanation in both Spanish and English about how to use the resources.

Higher Spanish Employability Future Plans University For Against

Higher Spanish Employability Future Plans University For Against

Page 1 is cards with Spanish for pupils to sort into 2 piles - 6 simple advantages of going to university and 6 simple disadvantages of going to university. Once they have decided on their piles, pupils make a page FOR university and a page AGAINST and translate the sentences. For lower-ability pupils, I have provided the English translations which I will mix up. This should help them translate a bit quicker. All part of preparation for writing an essay on advantages and disadvantages of going to university.
