Math: Number Talks (Smart Board + PowerPoint) handouts/directions/examples

Math: Number Talks (Smart Board + PowerPoint) handouts/directions/examples

This Number Talks bundle includes the Smart Board document and PowerPoint slideshow. Number Talks increase computational fluency. ★My students love Number Talks. They are short and allow students to do mental computation and explain (using mathematical language) and defend their answers, as well as allow the opportunity for students to defend, support, or appropriately disagree with their peers’ answers. This is a powerful tool to develop math discourse and also a class culture of accepting and respecting answers from all students.
