Algebra vocabulary, KS 2, display, working wall.

Hi all, Here's some algebra vocabulary for you. This resource is mainly aimed at Years 3 - 7 and can be out on your working walls or maths displays. I usually cut them out and laminate them first, that way they'll last a good few years. They're also completely editable so you can pick and choose which ones you want. If you like these resources then please review them for me and press 'follow' - that way you'll get notifications of other resources as and when I upload them. Cheers, Emlo

Introducing Sequences - To identify the pattern and extend number sequences

Introducing Sequences - To identify the pattern and extend number sequences

Hi folks, firstly I just wanted to say thanks to TES and all those who are sharing their fantastic resources. All I have done is utilised some of these resources and made a flipchart with a humble contribution from myself. Some of you will recognise parts of your resources embedded in the flip. I have TEEPED the lesson as well. Please feel free to ameliorate it further.

ProjectALesson Sequences : Finding a missing term

ProjectALesson Sequences : Finding a missing term

ProjectALesson intended to be the first lesson in a series on sequences. I find a lot of people miss out this lesson as they consider it too basic. I've tried to use it to include as much language, key words and problem solving as possible. The PowerPoint has everything you need to teach the lesson -Explanations -Key words and language -FOUR tasks (one find the next term, one find the missing terms, one categorisation task labelling sequences as linear or non linear and one finding the next term of a non linear sequence) . -A learning check -A problem solving question As usual don't download the clip-art, it's there so you can see a nice preview on TES and know what you're buying. Reviews appreciated :-)
