Letters are introduced in groups with instructions to encourage correct letter formation in a printing style. Each page is provided in mono and colour versions. Help children improve their letter formation and legibility by completing these drawing worksheets. Comprises of 5 worksheets. Each owl has a specific pattern which helps a child form set letter shapes and letters. By drawing over the dotted lines on the owls a child will be practising the essential prewriting patterns needed to form the letters of the alphabet. Owl worksheets are grouped into four patterns of different sizes. This gives children the opportunity to practice handwriting without them feeling they are doing boring handwriting worksheets. It helps children in Reception, Years 1 to 2, meeting the UK curriculum needs of Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 to develop: • Letter formations and joins • Establishing handwriting movement patterns • Starting and finishing points • The correct direction to follow Created by myself, I use occupational therapy techniques to improve a child’s writing throughout the pack by using a developmental process. Every page naturally progresses the skill of writing. It starts with how to sit and hold a pencil and then progresses to drawing letter groups. This Guy Fawkes alphabet printables teaches your children how to correctly write all the capital letters of the alphabet. There are both uppercase and lowercase letters for them to practice as they master cursive or joined up handwriting. The 9 activity sheets in this handwriting workbook have been designed for five to six-year-olds to learn pencil control skills and the correct way to write the letters of the alphabet. They start by following the arrows, then just the guidelines alone before being able to write each letter freehand.
