EDL, European Day of Languages, Language Awareness, Mother Tongue Day - Bunting

EDL, European Day of Languages, Language Awareness, Mother Tongue Day - Bunting

15 pages of ‘hello’ in 45 different languages from around the world, including English :), all in Publisher and as a pdf file. The Publisher file enables you to add languages (using the current format), e.g. to include any other languages spoken by students or staff at your school. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to arrange the bunting. I would suggest that like me you punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Print on card or on paper and laminate. A double printout will enable you to hang 2 triangles back to back, thus also hiding the string. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like these, please leave me a review and follow me, so you can see what else is new in my shop at any time. ©MosaiK

At a rapid rate, indigenous languages around the world are becoming endangered. Individuals, linguists, and organizations are developing ways to preserve and rehabilitate native languages and cultures. This short documentary tells the story of Marie Wilcox, the last fluent speaker of the Wukchumni language and the dictionary she created in an effort to keep her language alive.
