A selection of colourful resources for teaching Halloween vocabulary in KS3 French. Can be used as a standalone lesson.

A colourful Powerpoint with a dictionary task encouraging pupils to discover the meaning of new Halloween vocabulary (un vampire, une toile d’araignée, une sorcière, un fantôme, une araignée, une citrouille, un diable, un squelette, une momie, une chauve-souris, un chat noir, un chaudron, une maison hantée, une tombe, un balai, un épouvantail, un hibou, un cimetière, la lune, un monstre). Slides for vocabulary presentation, chorusing and recall. Slides with four Os and Xs games to be played as a class.

Vocabulary worksheets, differentiated. One version with vocabulary match up, another version with gap-fills to facilitate matching.

Wordsearches, two versions. One version includes vocabulary listed in French, another version lists vocabulary in English which must be translated first.

Dominoes game. All 20 vocabulary items with colour images. Can be laminated and played in pairs.
