Complete bilingual Tutorial to learn to teach French to toddlers

Complete bilingual Tutorial to learn to teach French to toddlers

This complete tutorial is designed for educators who want to learn how to teach French to Toddlers, through a range of structured lessons. It includes the link to a 20 minutes tutorial video helping all teachers (even complete French beginners) to teach French to children the best way and develop bilingualism. It comes with a printable teacher's guide. It includes a video of the story, designed as a kind of e-book, together with its printable storybook. There is also another video to introduce the prepositions (behind, in front of, under and above) together with the vocabulary (star, moon and sun). It comes with over 12 back-to-back flashcards to use with a centre of activity on topology (with 4 levels of games- using 1 to 4 new key prepositions). The game is available to print with clear instructions. You will also find printable craft activities to make and act out the story. Finally, I have also added a bilingual Questions/ Answers on early science facts about the stars, the moon and the sun. There are many ideas given on how to precisely extend and differentiate the students learning skills. Learning Objectives: In this tutorial, you will learn how to introduce simple sentences and expressions commonly used by French toddlers. They like repetitive games. Playing "Hide and Seek" help them make a psychological link between being present and absent, himself/ herself and others. Toddlers build a big part of their life through imitation and games. It also develops their creativity. This is why I have build this patterned story. I have also included few words of early science (Earth, star, moon, sun, sky, day, night) and prepositions (behind, in front, under, above, in). I recommend to use this resource preferably with toddlers and young children up to the age of 7. If you feel anything is missing to be entirely satisfied, I will gladly design and add whatever is necessary.

Halloween - Interactive Pupil Picker / Lesson Register

Halloween - Interactive Pupil Picker / Lesson Register

This is an interactive resource that can be used either as a register or a pupil selector. IT COMES COMPLETE WITH MUSIC. We have included ten class slides for those teachers with a number of different classes on their timetable. Each class contains 34 apples with editable text for you to enter the pupil's names. You can easily delete apples or add more by copying and pasting onto the slide. These slides can also be copied into any of your own existing presentations. Pupil Picker: This can be used when you want to be in control of who is answering the questions. Once a pupil has been chosen, click on the apple with their name on it and it will fall to the ground ensuring that they will not be chosen again. Alternatively, this is great fun when you are playing 'pupil choice' and allowing pupils to select the next person to be in the spotlight. Lesson Register: This is a fun alternative to calling the register! We have used it effectively as a register on the interactive whiteboard whereby pupils enter the class and tap their name. When they click on it, the apple (with their name on) falls to the ground. you are left with the absentees on the board. Games and Activities for New Teachers

Games and Activities for New Teachers

This resource is designed mainly for primary school teachers new to the profession. I have brought together educational games and activities under three main categories: Listening, Numeracy and Literacy. Within each of these categories I have further categorized the games/activities into ‘Nursury/Reception’, ‘Lower Primary’ and ‘Upper Primary’. There is also a page listing a few suggestions for activities in ‘other’ subject areas and a page of websites which I have found brilliant as a teacher; some are helpful for demonstrating concepts or finding inspiration, others as an interactive resource for children to use. Every teacher needs the odd ‘filler’ which can be used either at the end of a session, or as a rewarding activity when planned work has been completed. This resource should also prove useful to supply teachers who find themselves having to fill time constructively. These activities are supposed to be both fun and educational. I have tried almost every one of them out and classes often beg to be able to do them. The trick is to refer to the activities as ‘games’ so children see them as fun. My aim is that these activities should help teachers to develop good listening skills. As every teacher knows, these are vital. Without the ability to listen well, children are not teachable. This resource is very much a ‘work in progress’. I will add to it and would welcome any ideas. In the meantime, I hope it will prove useful. It is no accident that Cambridge University recently created a position for a Professor of ‘play’. These ‘games’ provide an ideal opportunity for learning which is relevant to the curriculum. Additionally the activities will help develop life skills such as the ability to work together and listen to each other. I would hope that they also engage children who find it less easy to focus since they are accessible.

@AllRoundRes How are we learning O'Meter?

Firstly, if you choose to download my resource(s), please take the time to leave a rating (as I know most of don't really bother) - I do really value your feedback. ***** FOLLOW @AllRoundRes, to stay up-to-date with the latest resources and news! ***** #GetYourLearnOn #AskAllRes I created this resource to be used a display in classrooms to show students how they are learning, in the classroom environment. A simple and effective display poster which you can use to show students what format they will be learning in the lesson; independently, in partners, in teams or as a class. Great for visual learners, as resource is clear and focused with few words, colour and diagrams. The poster explains to students, what they should do in that format, i.e. if independently they should be in silence, working alone and staying on task. Simply move the arrow to indicate how they will be learning in that part of the lesson. Great to differentiate tasks and work in the classroom, handing over to the student more for a flipped-learning approach to classroom based learning! You, could print this out, in large and display in a prominent and focusing place in the classroom, i.e. above your smartboard or whiteboard etc. Or you could include these in your lesson PPT. Show @AllRoundRes how you use this on your classroom. ************************************************************************************************************************ If you have any queries, questions or concerns, then please email allroundresources@gmail.com or alternatively write a comment describing your needs, where I will be happy to help! ***** Be sure to follow me, to keep update with my most recent uploaded resources! *****
