Get to know your class with this no-prep, all about me activity. This foldable printable is ideal for back-to-school or for an ‘about me’ topic and is a fun alternative to a standard worksheet. Print the template on white paper. There are 4 designs to choose from, each with the same prompts (please note that the templates are not editable). Pupils will need coloured pencils, a pen and scissors. Firstly, pupils will colour the top and bottom of the template. They can then fill in the boxes with words and pictures. The information they’ll need to complete is as follows: Name Age Left/right handed A place I’d like to visit is 3 words to describe me Things that make me smile I want to learn more about If I were an animal I’d be Something important to me Encourage lots of discussions! When the foldable is closed, it will spell ME. It can then be gently opened to reveal the detail inside. A picture showing how to fold is included, as well as versions of the templates for both US and UK paper sizes. 6 weeks of planning and resources for an “All About Me” topic, suitable for a Reception class. Based on the 2021 EYFS Development Matters document. The topic is broken up in to 6 themes: Week 1 - What Makes Me Special? Week 2 - My Body Week 3 - My Senses Week 4 - My Feelings Week 5 - Growing and Changing Week 6 - My Home and Local Area Each week has detailed planning for adult led sessions for the 7 areas of learning. There are 48 session plans altogether. Each week also has ideas for enhancing the continuous provision across 10 areas of the learning environment, with over 200 ideas in total. Where needed, resources to support these activities are included in the pack. There are also 6 weekly newsletters included. These can be used to let parents/carers know what their child is learning and to suggest ideas that they may want to try at home. The planning documents and newsletters are Word documents and can be edited. The supporting resources are PDF files and cannot be edited.

This ‘T Shirt About Me’ activity, is a fun, first week back to school ice breaker. It’s a creative way for teachers and students to learn more about each other. Invite students to respond to 30 prompts and questions in a personal and imaginative way, using doodles, words, ‘graffiti style’ lettering and illustrations. Engage children creatively with this Instagram style, mobile phone/tablet ‘All About Me’ art and writing activity. Perfect for the first week back to school. This resource activity contains 2x all about me bunting and flag templates in PDF format for students to complete with details about themselves and to colour in and develop on the design to show their individual personalities. A perfect activity for back to school in class, tutor time or as a set piece for homework. It would make a lovely display or a timecapsule piece for students to look back on at the end of their secondary school career. The individual bunting triangles could be used to make a hanging display in your classroom (there is a flap across the top to fold over a string) and the flag design would make a lovely wall display. The resource is aimed at secondary aged students - mostly new year 7 students starting secondary, however it can easily be used with other KS3 year groups. Questions on the bunting include things such as, name, birthday, self portrait frame, favourite book and subjects.
