In addition, I have included worksheets for the first couple of lessons which provides information on PIES (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social development), life stages (from a baby to elderly), Powerful and Mindful discussion activity and many more. One starter activity includes: Inside Out, Riley’s Emotions - Starter/Plenary Activity. A great starter activity for Health and Social Care, and Childcare to get pupils thinking about how emotions can affect an individual aged 3-12 years, and adults aged 20-64. Pupils will list emotions individuals will experience throughout their lifespan.

The final activity allows students to plan a nutritional diet from a choice of service users with different dietary needs e.g. diabetes/CHD etc. I have delivered this lesson to both key stage 4 and adult learners. Both groups thoroughly enjoyed the lesson activities.
