Four-page French activity worksheet on the the Francophonie. The worksheet presents twelve vocabulary items and associated activities outlining the organisation and its goals in language aimed at A1/A2 of the CEFR scale (so great for proficient Key Stage 3/4 groups). Exercises are designed to activate general reading and context / gist skills beyond the new vocab. There are also two practical list-based activities relating to sorting state member countries onto a map, and a list of continents; these might be a better starting point when introducing the topic for the first time. Ideal as a class-based project, or as homework or cover lesson material. An answer key is included, so the worksheet can be used by non-subject specialist educators as well.
