This is a home learning pack for teaching the Titanic - suitable for KS2 or KS3. This pack is 18 pages long and includes a variety of tasks and activities which can be completed by a student. This was designed to be completed independently and all information and resources needed are included in the pack! This resource is designed to be downloaded and then shared with your A-Level students. The objective of this resource is for students to independently work through over 500 revision cards, self assessing their knowledge based on the answers provided and then updating the spreadsheet (red, amber or green). It is easy to access and very straight forward for students to follow from their homes during the pandemic. Personally, I store the spreadsheet centrally on google classroom. This unit of work contains 5 tests and five sets of answers. There are 25 questions in each test. Each test builds on the knowledge from the test before so the assessment is a scaffolded approach. For example there may be a question on algebra and on the next test the question will be similar with a different slant. Therefore you can track when a student has gained a solid understanding of the concept. This repetition and with the teacher’s input in explaining the reasoning means the pupil can see their marks improve throughout the assessments.

This popular resource provides enough activities for a half term when used once a week. It is a mixed maths assessment covering many of the assessment framework competencies.
