Presentation designed for potential use as a starter or a plenary activity in Key Stage 3/4 History. There is also the potential to be used as providing meaningful work for a “cover” lesson promoting research activity. Students are given a significant event/achievement in history and asked to identify the individual credited with the first time that achievement was recorded. The topics include the suffrage movement, aviation, history of sport, popular culture and others. The whole presentation contains 50 different challenges and 153 slides with hyperlinks embedded throughout.
