As we aware the government requires that we no longer use levels in order to assess. However, we know this is easier said than done, and may well be altered when they realise the impact of their decision. This APP style grid was created by triangulating skills and levels from the old APP grid, the new national curriculum and another assessment system (B Squared). It contains all of the New National Curriculum 2014 objectives, but by level instead of by year, allowing you to use is as an assessment tool or to understand how your pupils are progressing using the 'old' style system. I hope you find it useful!
Scheme of work (split into terms) by year group for the new Maths curriculum 2014. Each year group has one un-highlighted SoW describing a suggested week by week format. There is also a highlighted copy. The green highlighting shows new information to be taught. The grey highlighting represents when you will revisit topics already taught that year - this highlighting took me hours to do and thought it would be better shared so others didn't have to do the same!
